Google’s Matt Cutts Says People Searching By Voice Are Less Likely To Use Keywords

Another interesting Webmaster Help Video was released by Google today. Matt Cutts talks about voice search and its impact on search behavior. The video was in response to a query sent in asking: “How has query syntax changed since voice search has become more popular?”.

Voice search is certainly picking up pace, especially in the mobile market where Google voice search is built into phone operating systems such as Android. Google has also recently released their desktop voice search feature, so this is definitely something to watch out for!

Currently Google’s voice search is not completely accurate with its relevancy within results, but if the past is something to go by things will only get better! If you were one of the earlier users of Google voice search, you may have seen an improvement in recent times.
